News-O-Matic

News-O-Matic is designed for K–8 students (ages 5–14). Every school day, it publishes five brand-new non-fiction articles differentiated across multiple Lexile reading tiers. The content aligns with international English language arts standards, STEM curricula, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies, allowing teachers to deliver the same core current event to the whole class while tailoring reading complexity to individual student needs.

Every daily article is translated and recorded by native speakers in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic. The platform features authentic human audio narration with synchronized text highlighting, interactive vocabulary definitions, and contextual background maps, making it a powerful resource for ESL/EFL classrooms, dual-language immersion, and modern foreign language instruction.

Educators have access to an intuitive teacher dashboard with real-time analytics that track student reading time, comprehension scores, and Lexile progression. Each article includes built-in standards-aligned quizzes, vocabulary challenges, and open-ended writing prompts, allowing teachers to assign tasks, differentiate instruction, and export performance reports effortlessly.
